To be completely honest I would have to say this years camp was one for the books. From not knowing anyone at the beginning of the week to those of us that stayed overnight and forced Nick to Shave his beard for a Tik Tok at 2 a.m. The memories you make from this will last a long time. One of the coolest moments of the camp was the interview aspect of it. When I came to the camp this year I didn’t expect to be going to PNC Park and getting a little tour of the stadium then going into the press box to interview someone who works for the Pirates. Like who gets to do that? I have never experienced that side of baseball before in my life and is definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.

Now the coolest thing that I did during the camp with the whole group would probably be the Wildthings game. When the camp started no one really talked since we didn’t know each other, but this year was similar to last year. The game is what brought everyone together. I feel like if the game wasn’t part of the camp some of us might not talk, or be too shy to interact with the other students. The Wild Things game is always a good time and it’s always nice for the people who you’ve never met before to finally start interacting with each other, then finding out that you may or may not have some common interests.
