On June 26, 2019, we were writing our stories peacefully. When Nick heard a noise and went out to investigate what it was. We joked that he was going to not come back if there was a fire. Only to discover that the fire alarm had gone off. We sat in that room for a good 5 minutes without even realizing that the alarm was going off.

 

Nick returned to tell us to not take the elevator as the lady on the speaker system had said not to. We gathered our things and saved our newest add ons to our articles. We soon exited the room only to be met with the loudspeaker lady. We took the stairs down 4 flights of stairs from floor 6 to floor 2.

 

We walked out of the building after we walked down another staircase. We made it out and joked about how our stuff, the overnighter’s luggage, was still in the building. Soon we heard the Firetruck siren stretch closer to us by the second. We crossed the road towards the CMI to continue our work.

 

The firemen entered the building to check if anything happened, only to find out that it was a false alarm. It could of been a big event but…… nope.
